a non-profit wildlife conservation organization
The Conservation Alliance for Tigers, Inc. (CATs) is dedicated to the preservation of wildlife, especially endangered wildlife. The primary focus of CATs is to be ‘the voice of the tiger’ and to aid tigers around the world both in-situ and ex-situ. A parallel focus is to educated children and adults alike on wildlife conservation and to create experiences where they have the opportunity to encounter wildlife ambassadors in an energetic, fun, extraordinarily produced, safe environment.
The purpose of the Conservation Alliance for Tigers is to present a coordinated, global initiative to inform all interested parties of the plight of the wild tiger, the needs of tigers in general, to raise broad awareness of wildlife conservation issues, and to provide logistical equipment and support to combat poaching.
In addition, CATs is developing the world's largest online, scientific database that will be made available to zoological and veterinary personnel around the globe to assist them in providing the best medical treatment for big cats in the wild as well as those in captivity. |
